Music

Music is a vital part of worship at FPC, and our choir plays a central role in leading the congregation in praise each week.  The FPC choir is open to all who have a heart for worship and love of singing - no formal training required, just a joyful spirit and a willingness to learn.  Whether you've sung in choirs for years or simply enjoy praising God through song, we invite you to come be a part of this welcoming and dedicated group.  Our choir is accompanied by the beautiful sounds of our organ!

The choir sings regularly during Sunday morning services and for special events throughout the year.  Contact the Church office for information regarding rehearsals.

Greeter

At FPC, we believe that hospitality is ministry.  Our greeters play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment where everyone - members, guests and newcomers - fell seen, valued, and loved the moment they arrive.

Greeters serve by offering warm smiles, friendly hellos, and helpful information.  You do not need special skills - just a kind heart and a willingness to make others feel welcome.

If you are interested in being a church greeter, please contact the Church office (361-575-2441) and they will put you in touch with the Worship Committee.

Usher

AT FPC, we believe that giving is a form of worship.  Our offering ushers play a vital role in creating a reverent and organized atmosphere during this part of the service.  With humility and care, users help collect tithes and offerings that support the mission and ministry of the church.

If you are interested in being an offering usher, please contact the Church office (361-575-2441) and they will put you in touch with the Worship Committee.

Liturgist

The role of the liturgist at FPC is a sacred opportunity to help guide the congregation through the rhythm of worship.  Liturgists assist in the leading parts of the service such as Scripture readings, prayers, responsive readings, and calls to worship - helping God's people encounter His presences through word and voice.  Whether you're comfortable reading publicly or want to grow in this area, servicing as a liturgist is a meaningful way to participate in the life of the church.

If you are interested in participating as a liturgist, please contact the Church office (361-575-2441) and they will put you in touch with the Worship Committee
