Sunday Serve

organ
Music

We are blessed with one of the largest and most beautiful pipe organs in the Crossroads area, and our opportunities for music ministry are limitless. At this time, our choir is small but enthusiastic, so there is plenty of room for those who love music, regardless of how experienced or inexperience they may be. We have a talented, experienced choirmaster, and our choir enjoys a special fellowship that is the rich province of all those who love to sing. All are invited to come be a part of this group who worship and praise the Lord in song. Rehearsals, which last for one hour, are on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the church’s choir room.

greeters

“I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than live in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10

There is nothing but joy in greeting the members and visitors to our church every Sunday morning. A warm smile and a caring heart are all that are needed. Greeting one another in the name of the Lord is something our congregation enjoys on every occasion we gather in our house of worship. If you would like to share in the fellowship of welcoming, please speak to one of our current greeters or to the pastor.

ushers

At FPC, Victoria, the ushers also have the privilege and responsibility of collecting our tithes and our offerings and presenting them, on behalf of the congregation, before the altar. We do not consider ushering to a chore; it is an act of worship and devotion. If you would like to participate in this meaningful activity among us, please speak to the pastor. There is no formality involved (we do not have an “Usher’s Guild,” for instance). All that is required is a desire to serve.
